Baguio-based artist-writer-publisher Chi Balmaceda Gutierrez has worked for the AAP as executive secretary during the term of social-realist painter Egai Fernandez, glass sculptor Ramon Orlina, et al.

She has been featured as one of Liongoren Gallery's "Walong Filipina," together with, among others, the late artist-poet Maningning Miclat who committed suicide a few years ago.

She has exhibited with women artists at the UP Vargas Museum, the SM Megamall ARTWALK, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Baguio International Art Festival, etc.

She is optimistic that this networking group would help revitalize the Philippine art scene which, seemingly, is in the throes of crass commercialism.
